As reported by www.armchess.am, the world open blitz chess championship will be held in the German city of Meinz from August 7 to 8. Let us mention that Levon Aronyan managed to score the championship in 2009 and will now attempt to defend it.

The championship will be held through the Swiss order and will be composed of 11 matches. The chess players will be given 20 minutes for each match and an additional 5 seconds for each step.
